Located at the southern end of Chiba, Mount Nokogiri (saw-shaped mountain) is a perfect fear-of-heights tester. It’s an easy and leisurely climb to the summit, which is actually a cliff overlooking the foresty lands of Chiba and further into Tokyo Bay. Mount Fuji and the well-known towers of Tokyo can be seen here on clear days. I admit I had trouble finding the mountain trail, turns out there’s a cable car that could take you halfway up. After that, it’s all stairs.



By the way, everything becomes broccoli down below the cable car…
